Return Policy
Standard Return Policy: We want you to feel completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, you may return an item covered by our Standard Return Policy within 90 days from the original date of purchase. Items that are returned within 30 days of receipt will not incur a restocking fee. Items that are being returned must be in new and unused condition. Additionally all original boxes, bags, packaging and literature must be in new condition and included with the returned product. Consumable products (sports nutrition) may not be returned if the seal has been broken. Please make sure the items you wish to return meet these criteria prior to proceeding. If you purchase multiple sizes of the same product (i.e. shoes in 6.5D, 7.0D & 7.5D) and choose to return some, but not all products, you will be responsible for a 10% restocking fee even if it is returned within 30 days of purchase. Other restrictions may apply.

To help maintain our 100% customer satisfaction guarantee, most merchandise purchased from SleepingGiantSports.com may be returned within 60 days for a partial refund (purchase price minus 10% restocking fee). Products returned within 30 days of purchase will not incur a restocking fee. All product returns require a Return Authorization Number. Items purchased from SleepingGiantSports.com are not eligible for returns or exchanges at our retail locations. Items purchased from a Sleeping Giant Sports & Apparel Store may only be returned or exchanged at a Sleeping Giant Sports & Apparel Store. The return policy for our Sleeping Giant Sports & Apparel Stores differs from our website, please contact the nearest Sleeping Giant Sports & Apparel Store for additional details.

Limited Return Policy: Items that are purchased under our Limited Return Policy may be exchanged or returned for store credit within 14 days of delivery. Items that are being returned must be in new and unused condition.

Additionally all original boxes, bags, packaging and literature must be in new condition and included with the returned product. Consumable products (sports nutrition) may not be returned if the seal has been broken. Please make sure the items you wish to return meet these criteria prior to proceeding. Other restrictions may apply.

Items Not Eligible for Return: Although we have a very flexible return policy on most of the items we sell, there are some exceptions. The following items may not be returned under any circumstances:

- Jocks & Undergarments - Due to the personal nature of the product
- Mouthguards - Due to hygenic reasons
- Goals and Lacrosse Walls
- Special Orders, Custom Orders, Team Orders or other Special Accommodations
- Customized Products - This includes helmets and jerseys with personalization
- Blemished Products
- Mystery Products

Most manufacturers provide warranty services for defective products, directly. How to Return Merchandise
Please contact us at 406-996-1600 for a return authorization number (RA #). Download the Return Authorization form (Adobe Acrobat is required to view the form). Please fill in the requested information on our product return form, and carefully follow the instructions for return. A Return Authorization Number expires 30 days from the date of issue. Expired Return Authorizations will be refused and returned. We will be more than happy to issue another Return Authorization number as long as the product is within the return window. Simply call our Customer Service department to obtain another number.

Sleeping Giant Sports & Apparel Store does not pay the return shipping cost for defective merchandise. We are not responsible for product defects, because we do not manufacture the products we carry. Sleeping Giant Sports & Apparel Store will employ every resource it has to ensure that your item is replaced promptly, without hassle.

Returned merchandise must be in original condition, and include all factory packed accessories and paperwork (e.g. straps, unmarked warranty card, manuals etc.), in the original manufacturer bag/box and packaging with UPC, barcode, and serial number intact. Incomplete returns will receive a reduced credit reflecting any missing accessories, packaging or literature. Please take special care when opening products shipped in plastic clamshell packaging as we may be unable to accept a return for items with destroyed or damaged packaging. Removal or alteration of a product's UPC number or serial number label will automatically void any possibility of return for credit or replacement. Products that are returned to Sleeping Giant Sports & Apparel Store with a missing or altered UPC or serial number will be returned to the sender. The product serial number must match the serial number in our database (SleepingGiantSports.com maintains serial number tracking).

Return merchandise must be double boxed with no writing on the manufacturer's box. We will not, under any circumstances, accept a return that uses a shoe box as the outer box even if the items inside are different than what is depicted on the box. Your Return Authorization Number must be displayed prominently on the outside of the shipping box. Packages without a Return Authorization Number will be refused. Refused deliveries will be subject to a return shipping fee. Returned merchandise that is lost or damaged during transit is solely the shipper's responsibility. It is important to save the tracking information and to properly insure all merchandise being returned to SleepingGiantSports.com.

Customers may use the carrier of their choice to return merchandise but we strongly advise customers to use a traceable shipping method for their own protection.

 

Return Shipping
Return shipping cost (the cost to send an item back to our warehouse) is like or comparable to your cost of driving to any store for returning an item, which is not reimbursable. Therefore, we do not reimburse any return shipping cost.

If an item you received is defective, we will certainly replace the item with a new one, however we do not cover or reimburse the shipping cost for returning defective merchandise back to our warehouse. We will ship the replacement product to you at our cost, and use every good measure to ensure that the replacement order is processed quickly.

 

Refunds & Store Credit
We will waive the restocking fee if an eligible product is returned within 30 days of purchase; after this all other returns of eligible product will be subject to a 10% restocking fee. Please view our Return Policy for a list of what is considered ineligible for Return. Refunds do not apply to the cost of shipping or oversized handling charges. The customer is responsible for the actual price of shipping even if the shipping was free or discounted. In some cases the actual price of shipping may exceed the amount originally charged for shipping, the difference in shipping cost will be deducted from any refund. Refunds are applied to the payment method used at the time of purchase 5-10 days after the returned merchandise has been received, inspected and processed.

Exchanges for other product or requests for store credit will not be assessed a restocking fee. Store Credit issued for purchases previously made on SleepingGiantSports.com, are only valid on SleepingGiantSports.com. We are unable to issue Store Credits for use on any of our other websites or Sleeping Giant Sports Stores.

 

Exchanges
If you purchased a product from us that you wish to exchange for an alternative, you can return the item for a refund or store credit and simply place a new order for the item you desire. A refund credit cannot be applied to a new purchase.

Please note that our standard Return Policy applies to exchanges, only items eligible for a return may be exchanged. It may take 5-10 days for a return to be received, inspected and processed.

 

Defective Items
An item that was discovered to be defective upon receipt can be replaced, or returned for a full refund for the purchase price provided that the item hasn't been used. SleepingGiantSports.com does not pay the return shipping cost for defective merchandise. We are not responsible for product defects, because we do not manufacture the products we carry. However, if you pay to send the item back to SleepingGiantSports.com, we will replace the item and ship the replacement to you at no charge. SleepingGiantSports.com will employ every resource it has to ensure that your item is replaced promptly, without hassle.

 

Refused Deliveries
If you refuse delivery, a credit will be issued for the price of the merchandise minus the actual cost of shipping and the cost of return shipping. All credits will be applied to the original payment method.

 

Damaged, Missing & Lost Items
All Packages are inspected for damage before they ship from our warehouse. If your package has been damaged in transit, please contact us immediately. We must be informed of all shipping related claims within 48 hours after the package was received. We do not issue refunds for returns of damaged merchandise. An item that was discovered damaged upon receipt will be replaced with the same model only. Should the item not be available for replacement, the customer will be issued store credit for the original cost of the damaged item.

Should your package be deemed Lost in Transit, please contact us immediately. We do not issue refunds for Lost Items. An item that was deemed to be Lost will be replaced with the same model only. Should the item not be available for replacement, the customer will be issued store credit for the original cost of the lost item.

Please allow 1 to 8 days for the processing of claims for lost U.P.S shipments and up to 40 days for lost U.S.P.S shipments.

 

Gift Items
Items sent as a promotional gift (Gift With Purchase) are required to be returned if the qualifying product is retruned for a refund or store credit. If the gift item is not returned, the current purchase price of the item will be deducted from the refund or store credit.
